As I start this blog I want to focus on the key things that I learn that have helped me. One thing that has really been on my mind recently is the power of knowing your reasons why you wish to accomplish the tasks that you are working on. An example of this from my life is that my first semester in college I was still trying to get the hang of the work life balance and I signed up for a class called medical anatomy and physiology. Because I am pursuing a career in the medical field I knew that this class was important for me. so I made sure that I put the amount of study time in necessary witch was often up to 3 or 4 hours a day. It all payed off in the end when i ended with an A and I was one of the top twenty students on the course, a course that was often described as being very difficult. In my mind knowing the reasons why I wanted to get a great grade in the class was crucial to my success.
Another example of this in my life today has been my fitness. now I will be the first to admit that I am not exactly where I want to be with my fitness, but I know the reasons why I continue to train, which for me is to be healthy, strong, and to fit into my clothes how I like, is what helps me push through my hour, sometimes hour and a half workout 4-5 times a week.
knowing your reasons why is very important to success which is why this week I am focusing on my reasons why I wish to complete my important tasks.
